Specialty Camps
Optional Add-on Specialty Camps
Specialty camps occur from 9:00-11:15 A.M., during the morning funshops time, and campers will then rejoin their regularly scheduled camp program. Please note that special events and field trips may occur at the same time as the specialty camp.
Campers must be enrolled at Camp Woodland Hills for the entire duration of the specialty camp. Space is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis, and the speciality camps may also be canceled due to insufficient enrollment. After May 10, 2024, if you choose to withdraw from the specialty camp, you are still responsible for the full cost of the specialty camp.
A Musical Medley - Dance Camp

For campers entering TK-2nd Grade
Get ready to learn some exciting new dances from Moana 2 and Wicked! The week will include outstanding musical theater choreography, dance games, improvisation, and interesting crafts. On July 3rd, we will perform the dances we have learned! Join us for an unforgettable dance adventure!
Coding and Things
with Jill Miller (WHPS Technology Specialist Teacher)
WEEK 6: 7/14-7/18 (4 days - no class on Thursday)

For campers entering TK-1st Grade
Campers will have so much fun completing coding challenges and puzzles that introduce campers to algorithms, loops, and debugging. We will also experiment with lots of other fun tech interactives.
Stop Motion Animation
with Jill Miller (WHPS Technology Specialist Teacher)
WEEK 7: 7/21-7/25 (5 days)
$155 additional cost
For campers entering 2nd-5th Grade
Like a flipbook, stop motion animation is a technique in which objects are moved in small increments, one frame at a time, and when played back, gives the illusion of movement. Campers will have so much fun experimenting with many digital art forms as they create their stop-motion animation. A link to their final product will be provided so campers can share their creation with family and friends.
